This course is designed to assist students who are new to writing research proposals, particularly within the qualitative research paradigm. It provides a step-by-step guide to developing a clear, coherent and academically rigorous proposal. Students will explore the foundations of qualitative inquiry, understand how to align research questions with methodology and gain practical skills in structuring proposals that meet academic and institutional standards.
This course is meant to assist students who are studying alone, independently, to understand and apply the process of analysing qualitative data. It provides clear, practical guidance on how to move from raw transcripts, field notes or documents to meaningful themes, interpretations and insights. Students will gain confidence in handling qualitative data systematically, using established techniques while maintaining flexibility for creative and critical thinking.
